IBT, Meijer Extend In-Store Financial Services Agreement a Second Time

ATLANTA – October 23, 2007 – IBT Enterprises, LLC, a leader in design, build and consulting services for the financial and specialty retail industries, announced it has extended its exclusive partnership with Meijer to identify financial institutions for in-store locations for a second time and for an additional three years.

IBT has served as Meijer’s exclusive provider of financial institutions as in-store retail partners since 2005. Under the extended agreement, which lasts through fall of 2010, IBT will retain the exclusive rights to market, design and construct in-store retail space for financial service providers. IBT will also continue to provide Meijer with other retail and service providers in a variety of industries.

“The right retail partner in terms of retail philosophy, corporate culture and an understanding of the tenant’s business strategy is a critical component of success for retail-in-retail environments,” said Carmen Cox, National Accounts Manager for IBT. “Meijer has been an excellent partner for our financial institution clients and a preferred vendor for their customers by providing financial, healthcare and a variety of other services in-store as an additional convenience.”

Michigan-based Meijer operates 181 grocery and general merchandise supercenters throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Locations that currently feature in-store financial facilities are operated by Flagstar Bank, Chase Bank, Consumers Credit, Team One Credit Union, CASE Credit Union and Meijer Credit Union.
