IBT Webinar to Discuss the Art and Science of Branch Placement

ATLANTA – November 5, 2007 – IBT Enterprises, LLC, a leader in design, build and consulting services for the financial and specialty retail industries, will hold a free webinar that will discuss choosing the optimal location for a new financial services branch. The Art and Science of Branch Placement webinar will be held Thursday, November 15 at 2 p.m. EDT.

During the webinar attendees will learn the process, as well as tools and resources available that lead to better planned and placed branches. To register for the online event, visit http://www.ibtenterprises.com/ev-branch.asp.

“The most successful branching strategies not only take into account how consumers will interact with the location but also how the type of branch and operations will best serve the specific needs of current and future customers,” said Tom Tucker, EVP of Sales for IBT Enterprises. “While trade area analysis, demographics and competitive information are important criteria to consider, the first step is to clearly identify the specific mission of the branch to effectively evaluate the appropriateness of each site.”

Any financial institution considering an expansion project or is in the process of expanding will benefit from the Art and Science of Branch Placement webinar. Topics to be addressed include:

  • How demographics, trade area analyses and competitive information are best used
  • Evaluating and matching site characteristics, available facility options and formats to meet the needs of intended customers
  • Identifying and evaluating placement and branch considerations of special importance to particular segments (e.g. the underserved, the environmentally conscious).

For more information about the Art and Science of Branch Placement and to register for the webinar, visit http://www.ibtenterprises.com/ev-branch.asp.

"IBT was able to help us bring to fruition the idea of going beyond traditional ways of conducting financial business and take it to the next level."
