Growth Was the 2006 Watchword for IBT
Revenue, partnerships, offerings expand through company's strategic approach

ATLANTA – March 12, 2007 – IBT Enterprises, a leader in design, construction and consulting for financial services and specialty retail, concluded 2006 with a 20 percent increase in revenue, exclusive partnerships and a Latino-based offering.

During 2006 IBT benefited from new and follow-up business from a variety of clients, including Flagstar Bank, One Georgia Bank, BECU, Ft. Belvoir Credit Union and Fall River Municipal Credit Union. IBT provided a combination of services to these and other clients, including design, construction and project management services for in-store, storefront, and brick and mortar facilities, as well as consulting and training services for successfully operating in a retail banking environment. The company also continued its expansion into specialty retail, providing design and construction services to food services and healthcare companies.

“In addition to reinforcing our commitment to the financial services community by broadening our scope of services, we made the decision to expand our offering outside the bounds of strictly financial services clients,” said Mylle Mangum, chairman and CEO of IBT Enterprises. “The shift to serving a specialty retail platform has allowed the company to benefit from an expanding client portfolio and new revenue streams.”

IBT formed, extended and expanded numerous partnerships during 2006. The company formed an exclusive partnership with Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Strategic Services to help credit unions tailor their products and services for the underserved Latino community. Under the new program, credit unions can reach out to the Latino market by offering needed products and services in a welcoming environment. The program also offers performance training and consulting for in-store associates and managers.

IBT signed a major partnership agreement with Banuestra Financial Corporation (formerly El Banco) to serve the Latino community. The partnership fueled a major new initiative for attracting and providing services to the underbanked Latino Community.

The company also extended its exclusive marketing relationship with Meijer, Inc. The agreement provides IBT the exclusive rights to market, design and construct in-store retail space for financial service providers seeking to co-locate inside Meijer stores.

IBT partnered with TalentQuest to develop benchmarking profiles of common traits of top retail banking performers. Under the terms of the partnership, IBT clients will have access to specialized services and a customized version of TalentQuest’s web-based talent management system for financial service institutions.

The 16th Annual IBT Trends Conference was held March 19-21, 2006 in Atlanta. The conference, themed Changing the Tide: Ideas to Action for Achieving Organic Growth, featured sessions addressing design innovation, retail relationships and next generation branch merchandising. In addition, the 2006 IBT Market Pulse survey, a study of almost 700 U.S. adults using financial services, was presented at Trends. The survey found U.S. consumers still seek a face-to-face experience from financial service providers. The full survey is available online at http://www.ibtenterprises.com/ideastudio.asp.

"IBT was able to help us bring to fruition the idea of going beyond traditional ways of conducting financial business and take it to the next level."
