IBT Names Mylle Mangum CEO ATLANTA,
Nov. 17, 2003 Mangum is a member of numerous organizations including The Carter Center Board, which, in partnership with Emory University, seeks to prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom and democracy and improve health through its commitment to human rights. She is also a member of the Goizueta Advisory Board of Emory Business School, the Piedmont College Board of Trustees, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Society of International Business Fellows. She was past president of the Committee of 200, an organization of top U.S. and international businesswomen. Mangum is a member of the board of directors at Scientific Atlanta, Inc., Payless ShoeSource, Inc., Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc. and The Barnes Group, Inc. Mangum has been featured in newspaper articles and magazines such as Forbes and Fortune . She is a frequent speaker at national and international gatherings including the World Economic Forum, and she testified at Senate hearings on International Education and the Impact on American Competitiveness. Mangum has earned various honors and awards. Most recently, Mangum was named “Decision Maker of the Year” by Business to Business magazine and “Marketer of the Year ” by the Atlanta Chapter of the American Marketing Association. She was also selected as one of the “100 Most Influential Atlantans” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and one of the “Divas 2000” by Business to Business magazine.
