IBT Helps PrimeWay Federal Credit Union Expand Reach with First In-Store Branch
Full service branch offers members greater convenience and one-stop shopping in H-E-B's largest Houston location

ATLANTA and HOUSTON, Nov. 8, 2005
IBT Enterprises, LLC, a leader in branch design and construction services, announced today its completion of PrimeWay® Federal Credit Union's first in-store location. The 600-square-foot branch, designed and built by IBT, was delivered in less than 60 days, ensuring that the credit union would be open and ready for business in conjunction with H-E-B's store opening the weekend of November 5.

IBT completed the project, its first with PrimeWay, in half the typical time allotted. The full service branch, located in a 93,000 square foot H-E-B store in Houston, Texas, supports PrimeWay's goal of increasing member convenience. A first for H-E-B as well, PrimeWay is the grocer's first in-store credit-union tenant.

"From the signing of the lease to the opening of the branch, the entire process took less than 60 days," said Dale Roberts, CEO of PrimeWay. "IBT was able to drastically reduce the construction timetable without sacrificing the quality of work. IBT was instrumental in helping us secure this location and has surpassed our expectations with their excellence of design, construction and training."

During its 68 years of existence, the $250 million credit union has implemented other techniques to offer convenience and exceptional service for its 44,500 members, such as shared banking services, an ATM network, a mobile branch and extensive online services. With the addition of the H-E-B in-store branch, PrimeWay now has seven locations in the Houston area.

"This new branch will generate tremendous foot-traffic, increasing the convenience for existing members and educating potential new members about PrimeWay's competitive financial services," said Mylle Mangum, CEO of IBT. "IBT has matched hundreds of credit union clients with retailers, providing their members with the advantage of one-stop shopping while expanding the visibility of their brand in target markets. We are pleased to add PrimeWay to our growing client list."

"The increased foot-traffic in an in-store branch like this is a great opportunity for credit unions with community charters, as it can be a prime location for credit unions to tout their overall savings to consumers as well as educate many in the areas of financial literacy," said Wes Millar senior vice president of Strategic Services for CUNA. "As a strategic alliance provider, IBT clearly upholds the commitment to deliver superior products and services for an outstanding value for credit unions."

The new full service branch comes equipped with two teller stations, a new-accounts station, a private banking office, multiple plasma screens for customer communications and a full-service ATM that will be accessible for after-hours use.
